December 2018<\/strong> \u2013 Warburg-HIH Invest Real Estate (Warburg-HIH Invest) just acquired an office scheme with a gross lettable area of around 8,000 square metres and 93 underground parking spots in Darmstadt, a city in southern Hesse. The property is earmarked for the Deutschland Selektiv Immobilien Invest special real estate special AIF. <\/p>\n<p>It is located in the Europaviertel sub-district across from Darmstadt\u2019s central railway station and therefore superbly connected both to the public transportation grid and the highway network. Frankfurt Airport is mere minutes away via the A5 motorway. The multi-tenant building currently has an occupancy of 91 percent and therefore some reletting potential. Head tenant is Arcadis, a project supervisor operating worldwide.  <\/p>\n<p> \u201cWith 130,000 jobs in the IT sector, the chemical industry, in mechanical engineering and space technology, Darmstadt is an important industry and office location that is simultaneously very conveniently linked to Frankfurt and its airport,\u201d said Hans-Joachim Lehmann, Managing Director at Warburg-HIH Invest. \u201cThe tremendous economic potential is reflected in the fact that Darmstadt made the top spot in the Future Index of the annual city ranking compiled by iwconsult, the ImmobilienScout24 real estate portal and the WirtschaftsWoche business weekly.
